New Creation Fellowship Announcements

Sunday Morning:  Christian Education begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m.  

Come for a Sunday School Celebration,  May 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Bring rolls or donuts to share. This will be our last organized Sunday school until the fall.

Church Directory:  We will be working on an update in the next few weeks. If your phone number, address, or e-mail has changed, please write out your new information and place it in Beulah Gehring’s or Ruth Penner’s box.

Graduation Celebration  for Bernard Regier Jr.: “We want to invite you to our house to celebrate Bernard’s graduation after graduation, May 14, around 4:00 p.m. Come and go. Bernard and Evie Regier

A Gift to our Scholarship Fund would be one way to celebrate our high school graduates and begin building the fund for dispersal to post high school students this fall.

State of our Congregational Budget:  Congratulations! We have come out on top this past month with expenses: year-to-date $24,596 and income over expenses of $1,135.22.

Reminder to small group cleaning up after Sunday service: All paper of all kinds must now go into recycling, instead of trash. Our paper recycling bin is in Ruth’s office, under the desk.

Full Circle, a local women’s vocal ensemble, will sing at Old Settler’s Inn, in Moundridge, on Friday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door. Refreshments will be provided.

WDC Annual Conference this year will be July 14-15 at Bethel College. Our congregation is entitled to 3 delegates. Anyone interested, please let Ruth know.

         Wider Church Announcements

Annual Meeting of Kansas Relief Sale will be held Tuesday, May 9 at Eden Mennonite Church, 4 miles west and 3 miles north of Moundridge. Dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Cost of meal is $10. Reservations needed.

Bethel College Alumni Association invites alumni and friends to itsannual banquet,  May  20, 6:00 pm, in Memorial Hall. Program includes award presentations. Cost $16 per person. Contact the Bookstore in Schultz Student Center by May 10. 

Bethel College’s Jazz Ensemble will play Jazz on the Green, beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, in front of the Administration Building (in Krehbiel Auditorium if rain). The concert is free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to on outside.
