Worship God

Our worship calls us to:

1. Declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to one another, our community, our nation and the world.
2. Invite people to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and membership in his church.
3. Build the church by being reconciled with each other and display our relationships as joyful expressions of the reconciling power of Christ.
4. Equip each other for mini stry in and beyond the church by discerning and calling forth the many and varied gifts and calls that are ours.
5. Assist and hold one another accountable in following the teachings of Christ.
6. Strengthen and encourage the spiritual life of the members of the church through worship, prayer, confession, Bible study, instruction, sharing, witnessing and service.
7. Be generous in sharing and receiving the gifts and resources for which we have been given the responsibility of stewardship.
8. Promote reconciliation, justice, peace, and charity; resist coercion, violence and war.
9. Invite, welcome and embrace people with God's love regardless of race, ethnic background, gender, age, sexual orientation, occupation, education, social class, financial status, disability (physical, emotional, spiritual).
10. Participate actively in the worldwide body and mission of Christ.
